Cristina López-Dóriga Juanes (Gijón,1980)

Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Oviedo and trained in photography at EFTI (Madrid), CISLAN (Langreo), the Photography Classroom of the University of Oviedo.

She has attended courses and workshops with various national and international photographers, including Alex Webb, Rebecca Norris Webb, and José Manuel Navia.

She brings her passion for travel, mountains, and encounters with other cultures into her photography. Her work experiences have taken her to live in different countries, which she has tirelessly documented with her camera.

Her work is characterized by a deep connection and empathy with her subjects, a poetic use of light and color, and a profound passion for landscapes.

As a videographer, together with Nicolás Cancio and under the brand Una Página en Blanco, she regularly produces audiovisual content for museums and Asturian artists, including the Barjola Museum in Gijón, the Evaristo Valle Museum in Gijón, and the Ethnographic Museums of the Principality of Asturias Network. She has also worked for the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias, the Instituto Cervantes, as well as other private entities.
