Cristina López-Dóriga Juanes (Gijón,1980)

Photographer and videographer based in Asturias (Spain).

Her work is characterized by a combination of documentary photography and a poetic use of light and color; a deep connection and empathy with the subjects she portrays; and a great love for landscapes and open spaces.

Her images reflect her passion for travel, the mountains, and encounters with other cultures. Her professional experiences have led her to live in different countries, something she has tirelessly documented with her camera.

As a videographer, alongside Nicolás Cancio and under the brand Una Página en Blanco, she regularly produces audiovisual projects for Asturian museums and artists, including the Barjola Museum in Gijón, the Evaristo Valle Museum in Gijón, and the Network of Ethnographic Museums of the Principality of Asturias. She has also produced works for the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias, the Cervantes Institute, and other private organizations.
